Sight Reading

I hope you found last week’s sight reading game site helpful and fun!!
Let’s continue with developing your sight reading. After you have looked at the rhythm and clapped it, it is time to look at the music and feel it and even try to hear the notes before you begin to play. This is where good ear training helps. But we will get to that later.

If you can feel and hear the music before you begin to play, you are halfway there. Music after all is not just notes, but feeling and a mood. The occasional wrong note is nothing if the rhythm, also known as timing, and expression, also known as feeling, is there.

Try this site and remember that the more you do the better you will get at this!!
